About the Department
The department of Commerce has been functioning since the academic year 1999-2000. The department offers B.Com, M.Com, M.Phil and Ph.D. programmes. The department is manned by academically well-qualified and highly competent staff members. Since its inception the department has been offering Commerce, Management Education to the students of various strata of the society. The department is striving for the holistic development of the students and has made a remarkable progress over a long period of time. The department facilitates students to develop sound communication skills and learn recent advancements in the field of commerce and management. The department of Commerce encourages students’ participation in various intra and inter-collegiate competitions. The department continuously organizes seminars, orientation programmes and guest lectures, which are of immense help to both the faculty and the students in knowledge acquisition and dissemination. The students of the department invariably find better employment opportunity in reputed industrial and business houses.
