About the Department
The department was established in the year 1999 with two courses B.Sc.,
(CS) and BCA. In the year 2002 M.Sc.,
Computer Science was introduced. M.Phil Research programme was established in the year 2013.
The department is facilitated with adequate systems.

To empower the graduates to be technologically sound, innovative and make
the department a
centre of excellence in nurturing the quality of computer
professionals embedded with software knowledge and aptitude for research.
Mission
- Provide a strong theoretical and practical background across the computer science
disciplines with an emphasis on software development.
- Impart high-quality professional training to get expertise in modern software tools
and technology and to cater to the real time requirements of the Industry.
- Empower the youth in rural community with computer education.
- Inculcate professional behavior, strong ethical values, innovative research
capabilities and leadership abilities among students.
- Provide good technical skills to students and equip them with the state-of-the-art
knowledge in computer science, so that they may take up real-world challenges hands
